One of the by products of making drinks at home is that you have lots of empty bottles to deal with. So you may ask, what's a Home Mixologist to do? Sure recycling is great, but check this out.
Instructables user huirub has posted a great How-To Guide on How to make a Vodka Lamp. Imagine your home bar lit up with a few illuminated bottles along side the other booze. Definitely a conversation starter.

I doubt it would work well with a red wine bottle, which is usually what I have around. It takes me a long time to empty a vodka bottle. :)
